The one star is for the lobby staff, the breakfast cooks, and the manager's special bar tender. Hard working people all. But, for the rest - the room was a disgrace - mold behind the toilet, numerous unidentifiable dead insects in the light fixture in the bathroom, large chunks of plaster missing from bathroom ceiling, and various ceiling marks in other portions of the suite. Dirt on bathroom mirror frame, and spit marks, at least I hope they were spit marks on the inside of the bathroom door. Overly soft and hugely uncomfortable bed – we complained and were advised they were “Embassy Suites standard mattresses.” They were unwilling to change the mattresses saying all Embassy Suites’ mattresses were standard. I walked on the carpet in my white socks and they were filthy in seconds. Room was very hot and stuffy – and we went in winter! Hotel advised the air conditioning was “turned off because it was cold outside.” They offered a fan, but were unable to give us one. We were guaranteed a fan and 10 AM, and when we returned to our room at 8 PM, there was no fan and we were advised – sorry no more fans as they were all being used by other guests. This should have been a clue to management that the rooms were uncomfortably hot! And then there was the creepy guy lurking in the lobby – couldn’t decide if he was an employee or not. He just seemed to hover around watching everyone – they he’d disappear, peer over the 3rd story balcony then return to the lobby to watch. Upon checkout – we asked to speak to the manager, but he was unavailable as he was driving the hotel shuttle. We were so disappointed – we cancelled our spring reservation at the hotel and made reservations at a Hyatt instead. We’ll not stay at this facility again – worst Embassy Suites experience ever. They pride themselves in 100% customer satisfaction – we were 100% dissatisfied.
attended a conference at this hotel. the place reeks of chlorine from the lobby water features. Conference room was dirty. On day two of the meeting the trash cans in the room were not emptied and the water carafe and glasses were filthy. The meeting planners complained and were brushed off by the front desk. Peeling wallpaper.
embassy is cool place to stay at.
Excellent experince. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and professional. Complimentary breakfast was delicious! Thanks You ! Will come back!
I have stayed here before and travel a lot. I realize that things are not going to run smooth all the time and I normally do not complain. I stayed here 2 weeks ago. I was told at check in that they had delivered some water and snacks to my room before my arrival. When I got to my room, nothing. The bathroom was also dirty on arrival. At breakfast on Saturday I waited 15-20 minutes in line before being served. The glasses and utensils were very dirty. In the business center the internet was almost non-existent. All of these problems and I did not complain. It just made for a long week. When I got home I received a survey. I thought why not, so I filled it out and outlined the issues that I had. Within 15 minutes of submitting the survey I received a call from hotel management. The apologized and said they were going to add 10,000 points to my account. Of course that did not happen. This is one diamond member that will not stay at this hotel again.
